Nothing but wet, sloppy beards and kisses for anyone entering the Wonderful World of Obvious Bouviers. It all started with an instant attraction to none other than a Bouvier des Flandres performing a Stupid Pet Trick on David Letterman back when I was in college. (I believe that was a man from NJ with "Caesar" who jumped up on a dowel rod held between Caesar's owner and Dave. Caesar balanced amazingly on all four paws on that tiny rod!) Anyway... it was my first introduction to the breed. Well, after college and many, many years of research, I finally purchased my first Bouvier in 1993 ("Roo").

Since 1993, I have bred or co-bred ONLY a handful of litters focusing on health, outstanding sweet temperaments, correct breed type and movement. Each and every litter bred by me is raised in my home with loving care. Please understand you will be asked for references and extensively interviewed to see if you qualify for an Obvious Bouvier. Passing this interview does not guaranty getting a puppy but could place you on my waiting list. The puppy must be a member of the family and household and "Companion" puppies are sold only on an AKC Limited Registration and never sold for resale.

I am a member of both the Bouvier des Flandres Club of SouthEast Michigan (BdFC of SEM) and the American Bouvier des Flandres Club (ABdFC). I am an "owner/handler" and have extensively shown Bouviers as well as other breeds in AKC conformation events as well as some obedience, tracking, schutzhund and herding.

It's Obvious for me....shouldn't it be Obvious for you!
